Today was a very sugar sweet success ! The girls lemonade stand was a huge success ! So much fun ! N pic soon  to come ....

basic cupcakes with a over sized tip and fancy foil

an addition to ice-cream cones

So I couldn't live with the flat version of my usually scoop and a half cone so heres a better example . Very easy to accomplish more frosting and a star tip but this pink sherbet topped cone wont stand up to the heat (106 outside ) , it ll melt just about as quick as the real thing .

steps 123 for making cup cake ice-cream cones

1) deep dish

2) cover with tin foil

3) slice with a X pattern 6 spots

4) pick your ice-cream cone

5)put ice-cream cones in the holes

6) fill with cake batter
about 1/2 full and

7) bake

8)Decorate....it 106 were we live  so generally you can ice these in a lot higher !

The sweetness of summer

The sweetness of summer ... lemons plus sugar equal lemonade . I can't think of anything much sweeter then a summer lemonade stand . Today me and my 5and 6 year old little girls prepared for there's to be held tomorrow . They are sign making,cupcake frosting, popcorn popping girls . Really ,getting ready for it has become just as much fun as collecting the quarter per cup tomorrow !

Must Haves for a successful stand :
Patience ( mom)
Advertising (flyers,email,signs)
Umbrella
Money jar
Cups,napkins
Lots of tasty treats/Lemonade (country time works fine )
Easy serve pitcher (that fits little hands ,we use a water container with a easy pour spout )
